Admission is $2.00 per person for a self guided.
Insect Zoo Hours: Monday - Friday 10-5pm. Closed Saturdays, Sundays and holidays (except during inclement weather—then we are closed).
Note to parents. The more you put into this learning experience, the more your child will get out of it. Allow enough time to look at the cages of animals and specimen displays. Read the captions and descriptions on each cage. We’ve packed a lot into a small space. Take time to enjoy it. Give your child (and yourself) the opportunity to experience Bug Box. You’ll understand when you get here.

Directions:
Bug Box is located just minutes south of Fredericksburg. Located ¼ mile west of Rt. 1 on Courthouse Road (Locals know the area as Four Mile Fork). You can’t miss it- just look for the two-story blue building with giant bugs crawling on it!
From Interstate 95 North or South:
Take Massaponax Exit #126. Proceed NORTH on Rt. 1 for 2.5 miles. Turn left (West) on Rt. 208/Courthouse Road. Travel ¼ mile. Turn right into Bug Box parking lot. Plenty of parking in the gravel lot or behind the building.
