The Bug Box Live Insect Zoo is a great place for children and adults to experience nature’s creatures in a comfortable environment. Come in and see a variety of live bugs, spiders, scorpions, and other cool animals.
The Desert Habitat area of the zoo is currently featuring scorpions, tarantulas, stinging insects, and spiders. Giant millipedes, Madagascar hissing cockroaches, huge walking sticks, beetles, and more are on display in the Forest Habitat area. While the Swamp Habitat is home to the turtles, frogs and toads, aquatic insects and crayfish.
Each area has colorful displays and a fun, interactive exploring table.
And just when you think you’re finished, the Learning Center is a quiet area to work on bug puzzles, color fun buggy pictures, play GeoSafari Bug games and try your hand at bug computer games.
Plenty to see and do for everyone.
