BugFest- Creepy Crawlies and Spidery Things

10th annual family fun event includes a Moonbounce, Big Truck Round-up, lots of games and fun activities. FLEA Market. Cockroach races. "We’re Cookin Bugs". Bug juice and cookies. Help make fleece Blankets of Hope and get-well cards for the wounded troops in Richmond VA Hospital. Toys for Tots and Salute our Troops kick-off.

Salute to the Troops!! At Bug Box
November 1-30, 2008

Throughout the month of November, Bug Box will be collecting toiletries, snacks, books, magazines, batteries, notepads, fuzzy socks, foot powder, hand wipes, and other fun items the troops overseas and those confined to the Richmond VA Hospital need or enjoy. Drop off items, along with a personal letter of encouragement and hope. We’ll take care of shipping and delivery. Please help us reach our goal of 100 boxes. Together we can do it!! Free zoo admission throughout the entire month of November with a donation.

Candy Canes and Holiday Trains at Bug Box
December 13, 2008 10am-2pm

4th Annual Holiday Open House. Gingerbread village with Santa Train, Candy Cane Lane, and thousands of lights await bright eyed children. Over 14 theme trees festively decorated with butterflies, birds, spiders, frogs, and more. Decorate sugar cookies. Children’s crafts and activities. Make special holiday cards for the Troops. Sip on Bug juice or hot chocolate. Free zoo admission with a new, unwrapped toy for Fredericksburg’s Hope House Family Shelter.
